The 4 Levels of AAT Courses

There are four levels to be qualified in AAT courses in before getting the title of an accounting technician. The first known vocational qualification is passing only until the third level. This is also called the AAT Intermediate Qualification. Upon passing the fourth level, you will be granted the Accounting Technician status and privileges. In the UK or anywhere in the world, there are still limits on the signing authorities of an Accounting Technician as there are Chartered Accountants who hold a higher authority in the accounting aspects of a company. If they have been attested as an experienced accountant and they have passed the superseding qualification then they can also become a chartered accountant.
